Hilton is set to open its second location in Walnut Creek with the debut of a Hilton Garden Inn this spring at 490 Lawrence Way. The hotel will feature 124 guest rooms across three floors, 113 on-site parking spaces and an outdoor pool area. Though the official opening date is yet to be confirmed, the hotel is already accepting reservations for as early as May 13. The Hilton Garden Inn project has been in the works since 2017, with City approval granted in 2018 after several public hearings. The hotel will occupy approximately 98,000 square feet of space across 2.26 acres.

This new addition to Walnut Creek comes amid a broader business resurgence in the City, which is seeing a growing number of companies opening locations in the area. In addition to Hilton Garden Inn, other new arrivals include a second Taco Bell at Rossmoor Shopping Center, the first East Bay location of San Francisco’s Original Joe’s and Sweet Maple, a popular brunch spot from San Francisco. Furthermore, Pinstripes, a two-story bowling alley, opened in downtown Walnut Creek last November, adding more entertainment options for locals and visitors alike.
