North Italia, a popular Italian restaurant chain known for its handmade pasta, pizza and craft cocktails, is expanding its footprint in the Bay Area with a new location set to open in Walnut Creek by the end of the year. The upcoming restaurant will be located at Plaza Escuela on South California Boulevard, joining a cluster of eateries including Habit Burger & Grill and Yogurtland. Owned by The Cheesecake Factory through its Fox Restaurant Concepts subsidiary, North Italia currently operates over 40 locations across the U.S. While the official opening date has yet to be announced, anticipation is building for the brand’s continued growth in Northern California.
