African Drums and Percussion-Get the Beat! - ALL LEVELS (Adult)

Hands On Art & Play Group is a delightful parent-and-me experience designed to introduce little ones to a preschool environment in a fun and engaging way. Each week features new themes that inspire creativity through various art and sensory activities, allowing toddlers to explore their imagination while developing fine motor skills.

Join Us at Community Arts Preschool!
Community Arts Preschool is a place where play and creativity lead the way. Inspired by Reggio Emilia, our arts-based curriculum helps children grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively through hands-on experiences in music, movement, and visual arts.

Camp Community Arts Returns!
Camp Community Arts offers creative arts experiences for students ages 4-14 years throughout summer! Join us for one of our two-week art camps where you'll learn new art skills daily from our professional teaching artists.
This year we are excited to offer six unique camp experiences this summer including Little Artist Studio, Artist Studio, Teen Art Studio, Theater Camp, Dance Camp, and our Teen Summer Arts program

Ana Gasteyer in Concert

From smoky jazz standards to showstopping Broadway anthems, Ana Gasteyer in Concert is an electrifying evening of powerhouse vocals and pure entertainment! Best known for her incomparable work on Saturday Night Live, Ana Gasteyer created some of the most iconic SNL characters during her six-year stint, including middle school music teacher Bobbie Moughan-Culp, and NPR radio host Margaret Jo, plus spot-on impressions of Martha Stewart, Celine Dion, and Hillary Rodham Clinton. On Broadway, she received rave reviews for her performance as Elphaba in Wicked and in Tina Fey’s film, Mean Girls. Don’t miss this incredible concert event!

Viola Frey: Foundations
Foundations explores the formative years of legendary Bay Area artist Viola Frey (1965–1987), tracing her shift from two-dimensional works to groundbreaking three-dimensional forms. Rarely seen paintings, drawings, photographs, and ceramics showcase her practice and cyclical reinvention of ideas. The exhibition features works from the Artists’ Legacy Foundation’s holdings alongside seminal pieces from private and institutional collections.

Whether you're hosting a meeting, celebration, or community gathering, Walnut Creek has beautiful indoor and outdoor venues ready to reserve. With the year wrapping up, it’s a great moment to lock in your 2026 dates and start planning stress-free.
Arts and Rec Class Withdrawals/Refunds/Transfers
If you wish to withdraw or transfer, request this at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the start date for a credit or refund. A $12 fee per person, per program will be charged. No refunds or credits after this time. Refunds are processed within three (3) weeks. No refunds for non-attendance or lack of student participation. Withdrawals may be done online. Transfers must be done in person or over the phone.
