Chinese New Year FeastThursday, 2/19 Chinese Lunar New Year marks the end of winter and beginning of spring with the celebration that lasts for 7 days. We will prepare three popular dishes for this occasion: Steamed sticky rice in lotus leaf, Kungpow chicken, and winter melon ginger soup. |

Advanced Royal Icing Cookie Decorating Techniques: Butterflies, Flowers, Lace, Marbling, and more!Saturday, 3/7 Learn advanced piping techniques to create unique, one-of-a-kind, Royal Icing cookies. We will decorate a variety of cookies (butterflies, flowers, lace, mosaics, hearts, etc.) using pastry bags and tips. |

These classes are for senior (50+) community members that are experiencing financial hardship.
Ceramic Arts at CPCCMondays, 4/20–5/18 Students will learn hand building techniques including pinching, sculpting, and glazing to create playful pieces that can be useful or decorative. |
Creative Art ClassWednesdays, 2/18–3/18 Explore watercolor or drawing in a stress free environment. Art instruction is provided by Center for Community Arts Teaching Artist, Alex Hagerty. |

Starting in February, free income tax preparation will again be offered by the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program!Service is provided by IRS certified tax counselors and is available to people of all ages. You do not need to be an AARP member. Appointments can be made online. |

On February 20, Ana Gasteyer, star of Broadway’s Wicked and TV’s SNL brings her signature style of humor and powerhouse vocals to the Lesher Center. On February 21, jazz vocalist Madeliene Peyroux makes her Lesher Center debut as part of our SFJAZZ at the Lesher series, and the month closes out on February 28 with the two-time Grammy award-winning Mariachi Herencia de Mexico. Bedford's extraordinary exhibition Viola Frey: Foundations continues through April.
Foundations explores the formative years of legendary Bay Area artist Viola Frey from 1965 to 1987, tracing her pivotal shift from two-dimensional works to groundbreaking three-dimensional forms.

Well Connected members call in via a toll-free number at a set time each week, with some groups also offering the option to connect via computer, tablet, or mobile device. Most groups last 30 minutes to an hour with around 12 participants. Newcomers are always welcome! If you don’t feel like talking at first, you’re welcome to just listen as long as you’ve let the group know you’re there.
