Kitava Kitchen, located at 1699 N California, held its ribbon cutting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Kitava Kitchen is a fast-casual concept focused on “real food everyone can enjoy,” featuring gluten-free, dairy-free, and health-conscious menu options centered around nutritious ingredients and modern American cuisine. 

Originally founded in San Francisco, the Kitava concept grew from a mission to make clean, accessible food available for a variety of dietary lifestyles. The brand has expanded to multiple Bay Area locations, including location at San Francisco International Airport. In addition to dine-in service, Kitava also offers catering and online ordering options. Mayor Kevin Wilk and Economic Development staff attended to celebrate the restaurant’s official opening.
