We offer limited walk-in counter services for:
- Permit status questions
- Payments
- Portal assistance
- Code-related questions
Important:
All building permits must be applied for online through our Permit Portal We do not accept paper or email submissions and do not issue permits over the counter.
If you need help using the portal or have questions not answered on our website, please book an appointment — appointments take priority over walk-ins.
Fridays: Remote services only. Contact staff in advance for assistance.
Before You Visit:
- All permits are electronic; nothing is printed or issued in person
- Permit applications, processing, and issuance are completed online
- Staff can provide guidance, but not process or distribute documents onsite
To Make the Most of Your Appointment:
- Create a Permit Portal account beforehand
- Bring documents for review
- Bring a laptop if you need help with the portal
Appointments are recommended for guidance on:
- Building inspections
- Kitchen/bath remodels
- Minor MEP permits
- Residential solar or EV chargers
