A below market rate (BMR) home is an affordable housing unit that is offered at a price lower than the market rates.

Bay Area Affordable Homeownership Alliance (BAAHA), a non-profit organization, assists the City in administering the program.

  • There is currently a 1-bedroom low income Below Market rate home available for purchase for $248,114 in Walnut Creek: 555 Ygnacio Valley Road.

    The income limits are:

    3 persons $122,200
