Annual Progress Reports
State law requires each city to submit an annual progress report on its housing element to the state. This report provides data on new housing units and implementation of the programs in the housing element.

RHNA Progress Summary
The Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) is a key part of state housing element law. The RHNA is a target number of housing units assigned to each city. Cities must show they have zoned enough land to build these units, and they must facilitate these units through various programs. The following provides the City’s Regional Housing Needs Allocation amount for 2023-2031 and the number of RHNA units completed.
